Melissa May Bowie, age 52, of Waldorf, Maryland died April 24, 2019 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. Melissa was a homemaker and was the daughter of David Willard Hein, Sr. and Connie Kay Beisker Hein. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Everett Bowie.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 5-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland. Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11AM at Old Durham Episcopal Church, 8700 Ironsides Road, Nanjemoy, Maryland 20662. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
