Dr. Virendra Kumar Kulshrestha, 85, of La Plata, MD passed away on March 25, 2019. Virendra was born on June 23, 1933 in India. He obtained his doctorate in biochemistry (Ph.D) in India and then pursued his post-doctoral fellowships in the U.S. He is survived by his wife Rajesh Kumari Kulshrestha of 63 years, and his daughter Dr. Sunita Kulshrestha.

Virendra enjoyed the stock market, keeping up with the news and current affairs, gardening, and spending time with and helping his wife and daughter. He greatly valued the importance of higher education and inspired many to pursue that path.

Family and friends will gather for Dr. Kulshrestha' s Life Celebration Visitation on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2 to 5pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
