Norma Virginia White of Bryans Road, MD, died on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at her home. She was 84 years old.

Born on February 2, 1924, in Luttrelville, VA, she was the daughter the late Inez and the late Robert Bryant.

Mrs. White was a teacher's assistant for the Charles County Board of Education, serving in several different schools including Pomonkey Elementary, James Craik, and Indian Head Elementary School.

A long time resident of Charles County, she was a strong member of the Democratic Party and worked the election polls for many hours. Her greatest love were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late Bernard E. "Bernie" White; her daughter the late Judy White Adams; her granddaughter the late Melissa White; and her nine siblings.

She is survived by children Jimmy White and his wife Donna of Bridger, MT; Steve White of Bryans Road, MD; Barbara Rood and her husband Larry of White Plains, MD; Cheryl Brumback and her husband Marty of White Plains, MD; son-in-law Johnny Adams of Nanjemoy, MD; grandchildren Michael White and his wife Lynn of Bridger, MT; Lisa Mickey and her husband Charlie of Floyd, VA; Mandy Willet and her husband BJ of La Plata, MD; Amy Reese and Dino Cinquegrani of Owings Mills, MD; great-grandchildren Cara and Eric White of Bridger, MT; Danielle Mickey of Floyd, VA and Chloe Willet of La Plata, MD; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, from 11AM to time of service at 1PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD, with the Reverend Dennis Fay officiating. Interment will be private.
