Charles Irvin Hudson Sr. was born November 21, 1965 in Newburg, MD to Ida Mae Thomas and the late Charles Hudson.

Little did we know what Friday, September 19, 2008 would bring. Suddenly, while doing what he loved to do (cutting down trees) he went to his eternal resting place leaving us with memories to cherish.

He attended Charles County public schools. Throughout his profession for over 20 years he was employed with various tree companies. Charles enjoyed fishing, bus trips and most of all spending time with his children. Charles was also a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan. Charles was a people person. He could get along with any and everyone. Charles was strong willed and would not leave any job undone.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Hudson and grandmother Mabel Chisley.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Felicia, James and Charles Hudson Jr. (Chaz), Grandchildren: Samantha Johnson, Taijanae Hudson, TonDa'lia Baker, Mother: Ida Mae Thomas, siblings: Lewis Johnson (Fran), Pamela Jenkins (George), Desairee Taylor, Avis Butler (Shawn), the love of his life, Fern Newman of 18 years, Stepchildren, Angelica and Christopher, Aunts: Shirley Garrett, Arnell Edelen (Theodore), Uncles: Arthur Saunders (Gail), Richard Bonner, James Bonner, five Nephews, three Neices Brothers-in-law: Jason (Jaynell), Greg (Tressa) and Emmitt (Lori).
