Clarence Forey Shaffer, born December 10, 1930 in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania surrounded by family in La Plata, Maryland on January 29, 2019. He is survived by his three Children, Joanne (Stephen) Whittaker, Michael (Wendy Dennison) Shaffer, and Cindy (Robert) Rohrabaugh. Grandchildren, Andy (Erica), Kathryn, and, Matthew, great grandchildren Emma, Raelynn, Roman, and Oliver. Clarence is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Lucas and brothers Marvin and Merritt.

Clarence is preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Shaffer, brothers Aaron, Chester, Clark, and Stuart, and his nephew Jonathan. As proud as he was to be a Pennsylvania native he was even more proud to serve our country in the United States Air Force. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
