Mary Emma Walls, 95 of Brandywine, MD died on September 5, 2008 at Castle of Love, III Assisted Living in Upper Marlboro, MD.

Born on October 6, 1912 in Piscataway, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Richard and Martha S. Windsor Smith. Ms. Walls owned and operated Walls Florist.

She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Richard Walls. Preceded in death by siblings, Jessie C. Kenny, Maude E. King, Dorothy Dixon, and Thelma Johnson, Melvin "Bob", Sherman C., James C., Herman R. Smith, and grandchild, Benjamin Dove.

Survived by children, Emma M. Dove of Issue, MD, Joseph R. Walls of Palatka, FL, Benjamin E. Walls and James D. Walls, both of Brandywine, MD, 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryantown, MD. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.

Serving as pallbearers will be: James Gilleland, James Dove, Michael, Mark, Anthony, and James, II, Joseph "Robbie", II, Walls, and Oliver Dove. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Leo Dixon, William "Buddy" Sweeney, Mark and James Geiger.
