Robert Carl "Bob" Resico, 60 of Leonardtown, MD died September 6, 2008 at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born November 26, 1947 in Mt. Clemens, MI he was the son of the late Frederick Joseph and Louise Marie Pringnitz Resico.

He was the loving husband of Sherry Marie Resico whom he married in 1974 in Leonardtown, MD. He is also survived by his children, Christina Ann Wood and her husband Ben, Robert Wayne Resico and Shaun Lee Resico as well as his sister Barbara Albright and four grandchildren.

He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School "Class of 1964" and attended community college in Charles County. Bob enjoyed scuba diving in Hawaii and California. He was an avid stamp collector who loved spending time with his wife Sherry and their children and grandchildren.

He served 16 years in the US Navy where he enjoyed working on C130 aircraft. He was part of VQ4 at Patuxent Naval Air Station. While being stationed at Pax he met and married his wife Sherry, the love of his life. Before becoming sick, he was a team leader in the hardware department of Lowe's.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Leonardtown, MD with Fr. John Dakes officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be Robert Wayne Resico, Benjamin Wood, Richard Harding, Jr., Shaun Resico, Bobby Almberg and Mark Howe. Honorary pallbearers will be William Alvey Sr. and William Alvey Jr.
