Wanda Jean Tyrell, 57, of Chesapeake Beach Passed away October 23, 2018 in Tappahannock, VA. Wanda was born August 8, 1961 in Richmond, VA to Mary E. (Rock) and Clyde Monroe Butler. She was raised in North Beach and attended public schools. She worked on her family's farm raising tobacco in her youth.

She married Ronald J. Tyrrell August 9, 1980 and they lived in Huntingtown and North Beach, and for the past 10 years in Chesapeake Beach. In addition to raising her family Wanda was employed driving tractor trailer trucks. She was a member of the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, serving as Past President, and later became a member North Beach Fire Department. Wanda enjoyed crochet, crafts, eating crabs, and spending time with her family and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Butler. She is survived by her husband Ronnie Tyrrell, daughters Linda Leonard and fiancé James Kidwell of Chesapeake Beach, and Shannon Cella an husband Andrew of Bristol, TN, sons James Tyrell and fiancé Erin Buckmaster of Callao, VA, and Mark Tyrell and fiancé Jennifer Mister of Chesapeake Beach, grandchildren Jordan Riggleman, Lilly Leonard, Crystal and Brianna Tyrrell, Sabrina, Rudy Caylee and Savanna Cella, Hunter and James Tyrrell, and Miss Charlotte Belle. She is also survived by brothers Tom Butler and wife Donna of Jessup, and Clyde Butler and wife Debbie of Dunkirk, and a sister Joan Potter and husband Michael of Pennsylvania.

Wanda's family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in her mamory be made to Rausch Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
