James Harvey Knott, Jr., 66, of Callaway, MD died September 3, 2008 at his home.

Born November 22, 1941 in Drayden, Maryland, he was the son of Donnie Marie Slade Knott of Valley Lee, MD and the late James Harvey Knott, Sr.

He is survived by two sons: Richard Troy Knott and Darrell Kent Knott both of Leonardtown, MD; a sister Mary Lucille Ylry of Westerville, OH; three brothers: Joseph Earl "Fuzzy" Knott, Charles Irvin Knott and Thomas Frederick Knott of Valley Lee, MD; his fiancée Rhonda Lynn Megby of Valley Lee, MD. Also survived by five grandchildren, he was predeceased in addition to his father a brother John Gonzie Knott.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jimmy's Life Celebration in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD on Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with Elk's Memorial Service conducted by Elk's Lodge St. Mary's County No. 2092 at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. George's Episcopal Church, 19167 Poplar Hill Lane, Valley Lee, MD. Reverend Greg Syler, rector of the church will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
