Betty Eleanor Henderson Seufert, 87, of California, MD, formerly of Interlaken, NY died September 1, 2008 at St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.

Born September 26, 1920 in Oneida, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Henderson and Reba Elizabeth Bach Henderson. Betty graduated from Romulus Central High School. Although Betty worked in various positions as a postal clerk, a bookkeeper, and a dry cleaning business owner, she most liked being a homemaker. She was a gifted piano player and enjoyed family gatherings, crossword puzzles and biographies.

Betty is survived by her sister Shirley Gurtler of California, MD; grandchildren, Craig Gustin and Melissa Gustin Federline and her husband Edward and great grandchildren Eddie (Erin), Krystal (Brian) and Kyle as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank Herman Seufert, her only child Betsy Seufert Gustin, and her sisters Beverly Covert and Gloria Yaw.

There will be a Service at the Callaway Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, 20770 Seth Court, Callaway, MD on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
