Linda Rae Slattery, 69, of La Plata, Maryland, died September 1, 2018 in Waldorf, MD. Linda was a devoted wife of 52 years and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and bird watching. Her greatest joy was watching her granddaughters, great-grandsons, and beloved pet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Ernest Ward Kidwell and the late Una Dell Spencer Kidwell; and her sister, the late Gladys Kelley. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John F. Slattery; daughters, Christine Robertson (David) and Julia Harris (Alfonso); brothers, Herbert Kidwell and Ernest Kidwell, Jr.; grandchildren, Corissa Figueredo (Josh), Kelsey Trootman (Ron), Hollie Green (Nick); great-grandchildren, Hunter and Joshua.

Friends received on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Keith Gascon. Her interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Memorials in Linda's name are asked to Hospice of Charles County (2505 Davis Rd., Waldorf, MD 20603).
