Daniel E. Carver Sr., 57, of Chesapeake Beach, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Washington D.C. to the late Edgar and Barbara Carver. Dan met his wife Teresa in 1983 and they were married in 1985. He became the loving father of D.J. (Amanda) in 1987 and of Brittany (C.J. and son Aidan) in 1989.

Dan was a hardworking and loyal employee at Giant Foods as a receiver until he retired in 2006. His hobbies included working on computers, waxing his truck, talking on the phone with friends and family, and watching Washington Redskins games. Dan loved laughing and making jokes with his grandsons; Justin, Andrew, and Alex, who called him "PopPop". Dan was always watching out for his family and was very proud of both of his children.
