Richard Allan Duke, 64, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on August 4, 2018 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on April 10, 1954 in Washington, DC to the late John Junior Duke and Eileen Bosworth (Duke) Thorne.
Richard married the love of his life, Linda Hadra Duke on November 1, 1973 in Upper Marlboro, MD; together they spent 44 wonderful years. He was a former Firefighter for the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George's County, MD for a number of years. Richard was a proud Cherokee Indian who enjoyed listening to classic rock music, cheering for his favorite hockey team, the Colorado Avalanche and watching his favorite TV show, MASH, but what he loved most was spending time with his family.
