Mrs. Farmer was a lifelong Homemaker and a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Welcome, MD.

She was daughter of the late C. Ridgley Scott and the late Annie Mundel Scott.

She was wife of the late Columbus Collins and the late Joseph William Farmer.

She was predeceased by her parents, husbands, one son, Thomas J. Collins, and one daughter, Hilda Tillery.

She is survived by her three sons, Phillip E. (Mary Jane) Collins of Marbury, MD, William M. (Sarah) Collins of Newport, MD, and Columbus J. (Betty) Collins of Silver Spring, MD, two daughters, Creola M. Mock of College Park, MD, and Catherine A. Collins of Washington, D.C., two brothers, Joseph Scott of Washington, D.C. and Thomas Scott of Hyattsville, MD, three sisters, Agnes Mims of Washington, D.C., Doris Chisley of La Plata, MD, and Shirley Thomas of Ironsides, MD. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 10-11am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church - McConchie, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Clergy will be the Father Robert Kosty. Interment will take place at the Church Cemetery.
