Charles Richard Ward, 67, of La Plata, MD passed away on August 14, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Ward and Cordelia Wolff Ward and brother Douglas Ward.

He is survived by his wife; Loretta Ward, Sons; Tim Ward, and Charles Ward, Jr. Daughter Stephanie Ward. Brother; Donald Ward, and grandchildren, Shelly Rachel, Samantha, and Eric Ward.

There will be a Life Celebration for Charles R. Ward on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at AREHART-ECHOLS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11 am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Newport Parish. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Children's Hospital.
