Mrs. Minton was a Homemaker. She had worked in her early years as a Nursing Aid for Doctor's Hospital in Washington, D.C. She enjoyed crocheting, stringing beads, puzzles, and loved to write.

Predeceased by her parents, her husband, John Lee Minton, one son, Paul Minton, and one daughter, Debbie Minton.

Survived by her three sons, Walter Minton of Waldorf, MD, Raymond (Linda) Minton of Bryans Road, MD, and Tom Minton of Salisbury, MD, one daughter, Myrtle Marie Minton of Florida, one brother, Rudy Balog of Texas, and one sister-in-law, Wilma Marcey of Waldorf, MD. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, special niece and nephew, Thomas, Jr. and Hailey, and several other nieces and nephews.
