Timothy Brian McGrath, 50, of Lexington Park, MD died August 11, 2008 in St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Born June 14, 1958 in Freeport, Illinois, he was the son of Patricia (Chambers) McGrath of Mesa, AZ and the late Charles McGrath.

Timothy attended Lasalle-Peru High School in Lasalle, IL where he graduated in 1976. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 until 1999. After his service in the Navy, Timothy was employed by a Government Contractor and worked at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD. He was an Elks Lodge member and a past member of the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad.

In addition to his mother, Timothy is survived by his wife Debra Kay (Houtz) McGrath, his son, Sean Patrick McGrath of Lexington Park, MD, his sister, Karen McGrath of Mesa, AZ and his brother, Michael McGrath of IL.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, Lexington Park, MD.
