Terri-Lynn Johnson, 52, of Chaptico, MD passed away March 6, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 12, 1966 in Leonardtown, MD to Martin Eugene Latham of Chaptico, MD and Peggy Jean Copsey of Chaptico, MD. Terri-Lynn is a lifelong resident of St. Mary's county and a 1984 graduate of Chopticon High School. She was employed for over 31 dedicated years as an optician technician with Eye Care Center in Waldorf, MD. She retired in 2015 due to her illness.

In November 2007, she married her beloved husband, William A. Johnson, in Leonardtown, MD. Together they celebrated over 10 wonderful years of marriage. Her hobbies included taking care of her flowers, playing PITCH, and eating crabs. She loved to spend time at the beach, particularly Nags Head, NC. Her family was her greatest love and she often coordinated cookouts and holiday gatherings. She was a delicious baker and was known for her crab dip and brownies. She also loved her pet cats, her macaw, Moe and bloodhound, Lucy.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Terri-Lynn is also survived by her step-sons, Adam Johnson of Bushwood, MD and Jeremie Johnson of Callaway, MD; her godson, Brett Reed of Chaptico, MD; her goddaughter, Jessica Reed of Chaptico, MD; her step-granddaughter, Bailee Marie Johnson; her sister-in-law's, Brenda Yates (Dale) of Clements, MD and Diane Brooks (Mickey) of Hollywood, MD; and many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rosann Latham and her sister-in-law, Judy Earp.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 23080 Maddox Road, General Delivery, Bushwood, MD 20618. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anothony Lickteig at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Oliver, Mike Latham, David Williams, Anthony Quade, Jonathan Yates and Phillip Farrell. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Arrangements by the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A.
