Mary Elizabeth Jinnette, 46, died August 10, 2008 at her residence in Chesapeake Beach after a legthy illness. She was born December 29, 1961 in Cheverly, MD and raised in Hillcrest Heights and Laurel, MD, where she attended Laurel High School.

She had worked as a book-binder for a printing company, but was mainly employed as a cook in the food services business at several local restaurants, including Neptunes and Traders in Chesapeake Beach. She had not worked recently due to illness.

A resident of Chesapeake Beach for many years, she enjoyed music, especially singing, playing piano and guitar. She was a very spiritual person and she also loved spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents Ivan M. and Alma Ruth Snedegar Jinnette, she is survived by sisters Julia Jinnette, Dora Winebrenner (Wayne), Debra Green, Donna Jinnette, Marsha Jinnette and Susan Lipscomb, and a brother Edward Robertson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
