Mario Antoine Washington, 30 of Mechanicsville, MD, was born on December 28, 1987 in Washington, DC, to parents, Phyllis Thomas Washington and Gerald S. Washington. He was called home to be with the Lord, our Savior, on February 20, 2018. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doris and William Washington; aunt, Thelma Washington and cousin, Tiffany Rosier.

Mario received his education in Prince George's and St. Mary's County Public School systems; graduating from Chopticon High School in 2006. He was baptized in the Catholic faith and was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Chaptico, MD. Later he joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mario was united in Holy Matrimony to Stephanie Dent on August 7, 2016. Shortly after graduation, Mario was employed at SSC Custom Plastics in Hollywood, MD. He later was employed as a Security Officer at Allied Barton Security Services, Arlington, VA, and at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. He also worked at Reliable Cleaning Services, Brandywine, MD.

Mario enjoyed family gatherings, watching movies and dancing. But above all, he LOVED his wife and children. Mario had a heart of gold with an enormous giving?spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had the talent to ""repair anything"", as Stephanie would say. He also had a passion for cars and he was extremely good with office and home organization. Mario was working towards his goal in starting a car detailing and home cleaning business.

Mario leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Stephanie D. Washington; three daughters, Tiana Washington of Lusby, MD, Maliah and Nova Washington; stepson, Daelin Dent-Burroughs; parents, Phyllis and Gerald Washington; sister, Rashana Washington of Waldorf, MD; maternal grandparents, Jane and Louis Thomas of Mechanicsville, MD; mother and father-in-law, Karen and Derrick Dent; brother-in-law, Derrick Dent, Jr.; sister-in-law, Nicole Dent, Brandywine, MD; aunts, Gertrude Bowman (Melvin), Karen Akintade (Eddie), Janice Thomas of Mechanicsville, MD, Joyce Sumner (Gary) of Navarre, FL, Helen Rosier (Raymond) of LaPlata, MD, Mary Theresa Stocks (Jasper) of Temple Hills, MD, Pynette Addison of Aurora, CO, Barbara Fernanders (Tony)?of Waldorf, MD and Stephanie Washington of Waldorf, MD; uncles, William Dickens (Cleo) of Lexington Park, MD, Louis Thomas, Jr. (Godfather) of Mechanicsville, MD, and Robert Thomas (LaTasha) of Hughesville, MD; Jackie Johnson (Thelma) of Mechanicsville, MD, William Washington (Carol) of Brandywine, MD, James Washington of Washington, DC, Joseph Washington (Katrina) of Brandywine, MD, George Washington (Michelle) of Clinton, MD and Jeffrey Washington (Felicia) of Hughesville, MD and his Godmother, Vita Makle. He is also survived by many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will unite on Thursday, March 1, 2018 for visitation at 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
