Mr. Tayman was a Finance Manager for 5 years with Ken Dixon Automotive in Waldorf, MD. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Chapel Point, MD. He was a 2004 graduate of McDonough High School. He was an accomplished musician on the guitar and piano and had played with local bands. He was an avid hockey player all through his youth. Michael was an organ donor and following his death gave life to three people.

He was son of Daniel Walter Tayman and Deborah Ann Austin Tayman.

He is survived by his parents, one sister, Madeline Tayman of Port Tobacco, MD, paternal grandparents, Walter and Betty Tayman of Bel Alton, MD, maternal grandparents, Pat Styron of Newport Ritchie, FL and George Austin of Palmyra, VA.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with prayers at 7:30pm at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.Clergy will be the Father Sal Jordan.

Interment will take place at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Utz, Chris Pyles, Chris Connelly, Bill Maddox, Matt Robinson, Matt Ahern, John McCormick, and Phil Lancaster.
