Joseph "Joe" Bell, 68, of Lusby, MD died on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008, at his residence.

He was born on December 8, 1939, in Washington, D.C. He entered the U.S. Marines at the age of 17 in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He married the love of his life, JoAnn E. Jones on March 26, 1959

He was employed in the construction business and retired from Metropolitan Industries, Inc. of Hyattsville, Maryland in1993 where he was an Installation Supervisor.

He enjoyed bass fishing, woodworking, restoring his 1969 Camaro, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed teasing his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Rebecca Strickland; and two grandchildren Cody Moore and Robert Bell.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnn E. Bell of Lusby; six children, daughter Yvonne Moore and her husband, Mike, of Elkridge; sons Billy Bell and his long-time girlfriend, Wanda, of Louisiana; Bobby Bell, and his wile, Barbara, of North Carolina; Tony Bell, and his wife, Sherrie, of Lusby; Tommy Bell, and his long-time girlfriend, Janet, of Missouri; Jimmy Bell, and his wife, Tina, of West Virginia; 15 grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.
