Kenneth Jerry DeVaughn, a retired Postal Services worker, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home in Huntingtown, MD surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Grace DeVaughn of Upper Marlboro, MD, sister Laura (Bernard) Phalen of Manassas, VA, brothers Donald of Shadyside, MD and Melvin of Dunkirk, MD.

Kenneth is survived by his sisters Phyllis Dowell (Edgar) of Huntingtown, MD, Mary Berry (Gene) of Owings, MD, sister-in-law Dolores of Annapolis, MD, and stepchildren Christine Greene (Lawrence) and William Morris (Marjorie) and their children. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, from 10 am until start of memorial services at 11 am, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 16101 Swanson Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in Kenneth's name to Bethel United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Lee Funeral Home.
