Catherine Agnes Burch Murphy Williams was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Mattie Adams Burch, her sister Cecilia Murphy, sons Joseph Murphy and Sonny Williams, also by her first husband Bernard Murphy and second husband Robert Williams.

Survivors include her sons Charles Murphy, Francis 'Danny' Murphy both of Maryland and Robert Williams of Texas, her daughters Mary Ann Barnes of Virginia, Katie Gatley of Maryland and Susan Fruge of Texas. Also surviving are Catherine's step-daughters Mary Ann King and Linda Roland, both of Maryland. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Catherine enjoyed gardening and sold Avon for many years holding President's club membership for several of those years, she was also an excellent cook. Catherine was a warm and loving mother and grandmother, and cared deeply for all those that she considered family and friends. She also had a lively sense of humor. She could scold and make you smile at the same time as you knew it was done out of love. She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind, but we know that she is forever watching over us all.
