Cynthia Arlene Fenwick, affectionately known as "Ballie," of Waldorf, Maryland entered into eternal life on July 26th losing her battle with cancer. Born on August 16, 1966 in LaPlata, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Lilly Fox Fenwick and the late John Walter Dade.

Ballie was educated in the Charles County Public School System and was employed at Civista Medical Center until her health began to fail.

She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending quality time with them, especially her nieces and nephews with whom she had a strong and passionate relationship. She had a great sense of humor and touched many lives. In addition to the time she spent with family, she also enjoyed singing, listening to music and dancing, "go-go" being her favorite.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell, Richard, and Michael Fenwick and nephew, Mondra Fenwick.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elise Nachell Savoy and Walter Leon Skinner, III, grandchildren, John "Frankie" Washington, III, Mondra D. Washington and MiKayla A. Fenwick, sisters, Doris Gray, Janice Battle, Linda, Patricia and Ethel Fenwick, brothers, John and Johnny Fenwick, Daniel and Lynell Dade, sisters-in-law, Marie, Natalie and Linday Fenwick, Clementine and Carlette Dade and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Her viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 8:30a.m. until time of service 10:00a.m. at Thornton Funeral Home, PA, Rte. 227, 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.
