Mrs. Fox was a Bookkeeper with her husband, who owned Crown Gas Station, for 40 years. She had worked in earlier years for the Waldorf Laundromat. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, soap operas, Orioles baseball, and the Washington Redskins. She most loved taking care of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her two special pets, Lady and Hot Dog.

She was daughter of the late Howard Sprouse and the late Virginia Johnson Sprouse.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Leo S. Fox, one sister, Nancy Lester, and one brother, Howard Junior Sprouse.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (William) White, Jr. of La Plata, MD, four sons, Sherman Fox of Waldorf, MD, Gary (Lynn) Fox of Brandywine, MD, Richard (Strawberrie) Fox of Waldorf, MD, and Jerry L. Fox of La Plata, MD, and four sisters, Hazel Wade of FL, Barbara Ann Fox of VA, Shirlie Runion of VA, and Sandra "LuLu" Waugerman of VA. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Clergy will be the Rev. Tony Wright.

Pallbearers will be Richard Fox, Richard Fox, Jr., Gary Fox, Ronald Sidney, Jr., Dawn McConkey, and Sheila McMahon.
