Erma Sophia Denton, 81, of Dameron, MD died July 21, 2008 at her residence.

Born November 21, 1926 in Coplay, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Devetz and Viktoria (Barczy) Devetz.

Erma is survived by her husband, William Hope Denton, children, Carole Jeanne Denton of Falls Church, VA and David Scott Denton of Tempe, AZ, grandson, Jacob William Denton, and sister Henen Gulka of Philadelphia, PA.

Family will receive friends for Erma's Life Celebration on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Rodney E. Spade of the SAYSF Bible Church, Lexington Park, MD will conduct the service. Interment will be on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
