Edna Marie McConnell, 86, of Leonardtown, MD died July 20, 2008 in Bayside Nursing Center, Lexington Park, MD.

Born August 4, 1921 in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Ray Corbin and Ida Alice (McDowell) Corbin.

Edna is survived by her children, Henry A. McConnell of Lexington Park, MD, Gary W. McConnell of Mexico, Mary M. Smith of Kingston, MI, Ida B. Miller of Gladas, VA, Frank E. McConnell of Piney Point, MD, and Carolyn S. Williams of Lexington Park, MD, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and brother, Stanley Corbin of Hershey, PA.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur McConnell whom she married on August 9, 1940.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. in the Callaway Congregation of Jehovah Witness, 20770 Seth Court, Callaway, MD.
