George A. Rolfe, 74, of Hollywood, MD died on January 2, 2006 in Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Born on April 15, 1941 in Chevy Chase, MD, he was the son of the late Harold Joseph Rolfe and Laura Marie Rolfe. Mr. Rolfe worked in Physical Security for 42 years at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD retiring in 2003. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Rolfe was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, National Rifle Association, Patuxent River Rifle & Pistol Club, Sanders Lake Sportsman Club and the Harley Owner's Group of Florida.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Marie Rolfe of Ellerslie, MD, a son, George Shane Rolfe of Hollywood, MD and a brother, Harold Rolfe of Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridge, MD. The Reverend Maurice O'Connell will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
