![]() Mr. Inman was Retired from the United States Navy and a Vietnam Veteran after 21 years of service and went on to work as a Telecommunications Specialist with the Department of Defense for another 19 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Waldorf, MD. He enjoyed collecting ships and lighthouses, traveling, and was an avid seaman. He loved being with his family, grandchildren, who called him "Pop Pop", and his dogs.
He was son of the late Laurence M. Inman and the late Iona B. Beck Inman. He is survived by his wife, Donna Inman, two sons, James L. (Margarita) Carey of Harpers Ferry, WV and Richard Inman, FL, five daughters, Michelle L. (David) Brosnahan of Woodbirdge, VA, Nicole A. (Jason) Young of East Berlin, PA, Jacqueline (Mike) Inman of FL, Lisa Inman of CA, and Nadia Inman, PA, one brother, Howard Inman of WA, three sisters, Maureen Rou of VA, Helen (Rick) Lotter of NJ, and Pat Inman of MS. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2008 from 6-8pm at Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Waldorf, MD. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 10am at Good Shepherd Methodist Church. Interment will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Clergy will be the Rev.
