A Mass of Christian Burial will be said, Friday, November 3, 2006 at 12 noon in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Ben Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Viewing and Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2006 from 10:30 AM till 12 PM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Lexington Park, MD.

Mary Louise Fleming, 76, of Lexington Park, MD died October 29, 2006 in Lexington Park, MD. Born May 18, 1930 in St. Mary's County she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Mary Rozenia Barnes. She married the late O'Dowd Fleming whom past in Lexington Park, MD on February 26, 2006.

She is survived by her children Joyce M. Barnes of Lexington Park, MD, Ruby A. Lamell and her husband Stanley J. of Gulfport, MS,, O'Dowd Fleming Jr. and wife Gloria of Washington, D.C.. She is also survived by her siblings John "Bill" Barnes of Baltimore, MD and Richard Portee of California, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her siblings Rosalie Thomas, Marnette Barnes, Florence Bryan, Ruth Portee, Richard Barnes, Thomas Barnes and Ernest Barnes.

She was a Teachers Aide for St. Mary's County Board of Education where she worked for twenty years until retirement in 1990. She belonged to the Merry Wives and Delicados, Inc. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends, fishing, crabbing, and spending time with her grandkids.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 3, 2006 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated follow Friday, November 3, 2006 at 12:00 Noon with Fr. Mike Dolan officiating. Pallbearers will be Ernarde Banks, Shawn "Michael" Johnson, John "Gregory" Barnes, William Bolt, Kodi Robinson and Darryl Barnes.
