Robert Douglas Jackson passed away at his home in Lusby, MD on July 7, 2008. Mr. Jackson was born on November 9, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward and Anasthia Niemeyer Jackson.

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson were formally from Bowie, MD where they resided for twenty four years. Robert was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons, MD. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and held the office of District Deputy and Grand Knight. He also served as a past Commander of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Robert Douglas is the devoted husband of Eileen Louise Jackson.

Loving father of Linda Perry of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Michael Jackson of St. Leonard, MD and the late Robert A. Jackson and Richard Jackson. Brother of Edward Jackson of Lehigh Acres, FL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
