Benjamin Herbert "Herbie" Milling, 84, of Lusby, MD passed away July 5, 2008 at Southern Maryland Hospital. He was born May 3, 1924 in Calvert Co., MD to the late Frank and Mary Allen Milling.

Herbie was the loving husband of Shirley Milling whom he married on May 25, 2008 in Lusby, MD. He was a lifelong Calvert County residence and attendant Solomons Elementary School. He served his country honorably in the US Army Air Corps and was the owner/operator of B.H. Milling Electrical for over 43 years until his retirement in March 2008. Herbie was a member of the Elk's Lodge and the American Legion Post 274.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Milling; and siblings, Clance Milling, Blanche Janosi and Delma Gatton. Herbie is survived by his wife Shirley Milling of Lusby, MD; and children, Patricia Denton, Jeffrey Denton, James Denton, Gregory Denton, and Craig Denton all of Calvert County, MD; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
