Mary Alice Wise Brubacher, 95, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on May 4, 2017 in Callaway, MD. Born on February 13, 1922 in Avenue, MD she was the daughter of the late Victoria St. Clair Wise and Marshall Wise.

Mary was the loving wife of the late Raymond Brubacher whom she married in Leonardtown, MD and who preceded her in death on July 26, 1996. Mary is survived by her daughter Claudia F. Brubacher of Leonardtown, MD. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ralph Wise, Horace Wise, Francis Wise, Madeline Jackson, and Elsie Wise. Mary was a lifelong St. Mary's County Resident, and was a homemaker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM with prayers recited at 6:30 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD with Deacon Joe Lloyd officiating. Pallbearers will be: Mike Wise, Chris Farrell, Ken Cusic, Ryan Wheeler, Jack Morgan, and Chris Farrell, Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Paul Morgan. Contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's. Arrangements by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
