On Tuesday, June 24, 2008, Wilhelmenia Bulls of Bryans Road, Maryland quietly entered into eternal rest at her residence.

Wilhelmenia was born on October 12, 1934 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Lucille and the late Eugene Harrison. Wilhelmenia was educated in the schools of Darlington and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1952. She met and married the late Arthur Bulls and together they found their way to the Washington, D.C. area. Out of their union, five children were born.

While Arthur worked for the Federal Government, Wilhelmenia made a career as a Department Manager working for Morton's Department Store for twenty-five years. Wilhelmenia enjoyed listening to Gospel music and "oldies but goodies." She also enjoyed planting roses and other flowers and gardening.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Daisy and brothers, Jay and Walter.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Arthur "Stanley," Bruce "Lee," Debra, Carol and Audrey Bulls; grandchildren, Aaron, Bruce Jr., Garrett IV, Jamal, Jeffrey, Daniel, LeAnne, Andrew, Terrence, Denia, Terrell, great grandchildren; Cerrica, Nina, Kyla, Katia and Nakyia; daughters-in-law, Patricia and Jackeline, sisters; Geraldine and Barbara, brothers; Olando and Bill Bounds (a cousin who was like her brother), and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Her viewing will take place on Friday, June 27th, 11:30am until service time 12:30pm at Thornton Funeral Home, P.A. Chapel, Rte 227, 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
