Warren A. Hawkins, 84, of La Plata, Maryland passed away on June 14, 2008 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Maryland.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John A. Hawkins, Sr. and Louise Queen Hawkins. children; Lucille Hawkins-Savoy, and Edna Mae Hawkins.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Hawkins, John Hawkins, James I. Hawkins, Ronnie Hawkins, and Phillip Hawkins. Daughters; Mary H. Hawkins, Catherine Hawkins, Diane Hawkins, Ann Hawkins, Celeste Hawkins, Carolyn Hawkins, and Pauline Hawkins. His sister, Julia Bush. 33 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 41 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 9 am until time of service at 10:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, Maryland. Father Ron Potts will officiate. Interment will follow at the Queen Of Peace Cemetery in Helen, Maryland.
