Ms. Turner was a Sales Representative with the Hecht Company store in Marlow Heights, Md. for 25 years. She was an avid gardener, liked watching wrestling, enjoyed going to the beach, and being with her great grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late William A. Smith and the late Ella M. Rhodes Smith

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by one son, William A. (Diane) Turner of La Plata, Md., one grandson, James R. (Tracy) Turner of La Plata, Md., and three grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan, and Danin Turner.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 1pm at the Little Chapel at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md. Clergy will be the Rev. John Foster, Jr. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.
