Madeline Charlotte "Maddy" Pasik, 74, of Lexington Park, MD died November 17, 2016 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. Born January 19, 1962 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Charles Burnett Cummings and Anna Baruday.

Maddy graduated from Roosevelt High School in Washington, D.C. On January 27, 1961, she married her beloved husband, John Pasik. Together they celebrated over 42 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in February 2010. She was employed as a dedicated retail sales clerk for Walmart for over 20 years until her retirement. Prior to that she was employed at St. Mary's College.

Family and friends were an important part of Maddy's life. She was friendly, welcoming, and always hospitable. Her hobbies included, cooking, playing the slots, going to yard sales, and playing "BINGO." She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Attending church was an important part of her life.

Maddy is survived by her children, Jacqueline Dillow (Charles) of Lakeland, FL, Sarah Pulliam (David) of Ridge, MD, Patricia Lee (Mark) of Lexington Park, MD, David Pasik (Tina) of Woodstock, GA, and Dawn Petote (Phillip) of Lakeland, FL; her siblings, Joan Long (Charles) of Lakeland, FL, Mary Lee "Bootsie" Clements of Allantown, PA, Charles "Chubby" Cummings (June) of Rockville, MD, and Barbara Pursiful (Jeff); 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Pasik, and sister, Margaret Ouelette.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service celebrated by Reverend John Ball at 12:00 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, 47477 Trinity Church Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Pasik, David "Dragon" Pulliam, Dalton Knight, Bradley Knight, Randal Sexton, and David Connolly. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Maryland, 10665 Stanhaven Place, Suite 205D, White Plains, MD 20695.
