Edna Lorraine Hager Sendish, affectionately known as" Maw Maw", 85, of Waldorf, Maryland passed away on November 4, 2016. Edna was born to the late Maurice Milburn Hager and the late Irene Edna Sullivan Hager on July 22, 1931 at home in Riverdale, Maryland.

Edna loved her husband of fifty years, Otto Sendish. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She adored gardening and watching beautiful flowers grow. Edna also enjoyed watching birds and had several birdhouses in her yard. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

Edna was also a Kansas University Football fan; her grandson, Cassius, was a Defensive Back and Team Captain for the Jayhawks. Edna was so proud of all her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She loved our Lord, Jesus Christ and lived her life according to the principles of the Holy Bible.

In addition to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Otto J. Sendish, her son Michael J. Sendish, and her grandson Kent R. Reardon, her brothers Maurice, Charles, and Robert Hager, and her sister Brenda Lee Taylor. She is survived by her children, Valerie Reardon (Douglas) of Mechanicsville, Maryland, John Sendish of Waldorf, Maryland, Theresa Collins of Waldorf, Maryland, Edna Sendish-Peters (Robert) of Mechanicsville, Maryland, and Andras Sendish (Paula) of Waldorf, Maryland. Edna has thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Ollie.

The family will receive friends for Edna's Life Celebration on November 10, 2016 at the Adams Funeral Home located at 20605 Aquasco Road, Aquasco, Maryland at 7:00 pm. The esteemed Pastor Paul Goodwin from Calvary Chapel will officiate. There will be a private interment at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
