William Richard Stevens Jr. "Bill", 60 of Lexington Park, MD, formerly from Hollywood, MD passed away on October 18, 2016 in Baltimore, MD. Born on December 11, 1955 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Mary Lettie Stevens and William Richard Stevens, Sr. Bill is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Mae Stevens, whom he married in St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in St. Mary's City, MD.

Bill is survived by his children; Vincent Chapman of Lexington Park, MD, Evita Chapman of Lexington Park, MD and 5 grandchildren. Siblings; Frances Dyson of Hollywood, MD, Shirley Stevens of Hollywood, MD, Doris Holt of Lexington Park, MD and James Stevens of Lexington Park, MD.

Bill graduated from Chopticon High School in 1977. He worked for Dean Lumber Company in Hollywood, MD as a Truck Driver for 40 years retiring in December 2014. Bill enjoyed working on cars, cutting grass and watching westerns in his favorite recliner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM in St. John's Catholic Church Hollywood, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM with Father Ray Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Vincent Chapman, Jr., Philip Fenwick, William Butler, James Darnell Butler, Terry Jones and Terry Clinton. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Frankie Clark, Joseph Holt, Ronald Blackwell, Adrian Johnson, Pernell Somerville, Sr. and Pernell Somerville, Jr. Arrangements by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
