Edward X. Briscoe Sr., affectionately known as "Boe," was born on August 22, 1937 to the late Francis and Estelle Briscoe. Boe transitioned from this earth to go home to be with the Lord on Thursday September 29, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father; Francis Stewart Briscoe, mother; Sarah Estelle Brawner-Briscoe, children, Edward Xavier Jr "Poo-Poo" and Debra Elaine Briscoe, brothers; Robert "Puddin" and Joseph Briscoe. Father in-law Ernest Duckett and mother in-law Agnes Coombs-Duckett.

Boe leaves his memory to be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Helen Elaine Briscoe. Children; Stevie (Karen), Janet (Donald), Vanessa, Rhonda "Tingaling", Charles "Randy" (Jennifer), Jessie, Shelly, and Rodney (Carla). 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
