Linda Gayle Jones, 70, of Waldorf, MD passed away on October 2, 2016 at her home. Linda was born in Washington, DC on February 18, 1946 to the late Henry Herrell and the late Dorothy Holifield Herrell. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Silvia Herrell; and great-granddaughter, Amelia Ann Finamore.

Linda is survived by her sons, Scott Mayle, Hank Mayle and James Jones; brother, Roger Herrell (Pattie); and grandchildren, Jason Mayle, Scottie Mayle, Malari Finamore, Michael Mayle, Henry Mayle and Addison Mayle.

Linda retired from Verizon as a Commications Specialist and worked in the Communications Dept. at So. MD Hospital. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and spending time with her family. She also loved her dogs. Arrangements by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A.
