Born on July 30, 1948 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Vincent, Sr. and the late Catherine Watson Vabolis.

Mr. Vabolis was an Engineer for Intel Stat Corporation in Washington, DC. Prior he served in the U.S. Army from 1968 until 1971. His enjoyments were fishing, crabbing at the pier on the beach, going out to eat crabs with his family, traveling to Ocean City, MD. He also played in bands in the 1960's and made a 45 record with the DC Magnatones.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Susanne Vabolis, sons, William J. Vabolis, Jr. and Zachary S. Vabolis, both of Mechanicsville, MD, brother, Vincent Vabolis of North Beach, MD, father and mother-in-law, Arthur S. and Jacqueline M. Jett, and step-mother, Estelle Vabolis.

Family to receive friends to celebrates William's Life Celebration on Monday, June 9, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:30AM. Interment will follow at 1PM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
