Mr. Harris served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked for TBN Associates, Inc. as an asbestos technician for 36 years. He was a member of the antique automobile club of America - National Capital Region; the Packard Club; Mid-Atlantic Packards; Packard International Motor Car Club; Packards of West Virginia; National Woodie Club and Maryland Forests Association. He was an award winning classic car restorer and an avid hunter.

He was the son of Henry C. Harris and Margaret A. Jackson Harris.
