Annie "Ann" Laura Harrell, 84, of La Plata, MD was called home on September 9, 2016 at Prince George's Hospital Center, Cheverly MD surrounded by her family. She was born May 31, 1932 in Washington, NC to the late Benton L. Ball and Agusta E. (Chauncy) Ball.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Gilbert Lee Harrell. She is survived by her daughters; Alma L. (Richard) Curtis of Waldorf, MD and Jennifer L. (James) Young of La Plata, MD, 5 grandchildren and 9 siblings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 2671 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601 where a service will be held at 9:00AM on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Interment will follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Gilbert. Contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, 2671 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Arrangements are being handled by Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata, MD.
