Elizabeth Rosalie "Grandma Rose" Cusick, 103, of La Plata, Maryland passed away on September 7, 2016 at home. Born October 30, 1912 in Benedict, Maryland, Rosalie was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie Viola Jenkins Moreland of Waldorf, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foley Leo Cusick; her son, Philip Leary Cusick; her sisters, Adele, Dorothy, Pearl, Elsie, Mary and Anna Mae; her brothers, Earnest, Francis, Lewis, Joe and William.

Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Betty Radcliff; her son, David Wayne Cusick; her brothers, John and Thomas Moreland; her sister, Louise Schoengrab; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rosalie saw many changes in her lifetime. She liked to dance and have fun with family and friends. She worked at the old Milton Somers School as a cafeteria employee and many restaurants in the area.

Friends received on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5-8PM with prayers at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Church cemetery, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Radcliff, and David, Daniel, Mike, Greg, Phil and Jeff Cusick. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service.
