Joan May Dove, 72, of Broomes Island, MD passed away on May 29, 2008 in Arlington, VA.

Born Oct. 7, 1935 in McKeesport, PA to the late Floyd F. and Opal May Conrad Graham. Mrs. Dove worked for Calvert County Public Schools as a teacher's aide.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Norman E. Dove, Sr. Mother of Dorleen Dove of Silver Springs, MD, Patricia Lillis(Tom) of Olathe, Kansas, Norman Dove, Jr. of Kernersville, NC, Richard Dove (Debbie) of Stevensville, MD, and Donna Dove (Bill) of Pfafftown, NC.

Grandmother of Amanda Dove, Melissa Dove, Alyssa Jones, Starr Dove, Samantha Lillis and Shay McConnell. She is also survived by her brother David F. Graham (Barbara) of Hollywood, MD.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes island Road on Monday June 2, 2008 from 6-8 PM where services will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2008, 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Beall officiating. Interment will follow in Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens, Port Republic MD.
