On Monday, July 11, 2016, Phillip E. Collins of Marbury, Maryland quietly entered eternal life at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, Maryland.

He was born on August 24, 1936 in Port Tobacco, Maryland to the late Columbia Collins and the late Catherine Farmer. He was the husband of Mary Jane Collins. Also surviving are other loving family members and friends.

His viewing will be held from 9am until time of service 11am on Monday, July 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Interment St. Catherine's Catholic Church Cemetery, McConchie, Maryland. Arrangements by Thornton Funeral Home.
