Hugh Nelson, 77, of Lexington Park, MD died October 14, 2006 at his residence.

Born December 10, 1928 in Noble County, IN, he was the son of the late Ward Leigh Nelson and Letha Hile Nelson. Mr. Nelson served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1967. Mr. Nelson was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lexington Park, MD and a member of the Elks.

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Ann Nelson of Lexington Park, MD, Patricia Leigh Weaver of Valley Lee, MD, a son, Stephen Michael Nelson of Papillion, NE, two sisters, Helene Grant of Columbia City, IN, Hilda Camp of Waterloo, IN, two brothers, Harley Nelson of Homosassa, FL, Hershell Nelson of Churubusco, IN, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
