Juanita Mae Bliss, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida and formerly of Mechanicsville, Maryland passed away on June 8, 2016. She was born on October 28, 1941 in Bland, Virginia.

Juanita retired after 31 years of employment with Verizon, which was also named AT&T and Bell Atlantic. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Eugene Zane Bliss of Port Charlotte and a sister, Barbara Wallach of Proctorville, Ohio.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, Maryland, from 2:00PM-4:00PM & 6:00PM-8:00PM with a funeral service to be held at 7:00PM. A private graveside service will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf. Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. is handling the arrangements.
